“ Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had a great experience. Tried the halibut and fries and a blue cheese burger (with a fancy, fun name that I can't remember). The blue cheese was really funky, in the best possible way! It was delicious in the burger and my husband enjoyed every bite. I love me some halibut ... throw it in the deep fryer and I'm in heaven! The fish was meaty and the tartar sauce was thick and delicious. The clam chowder was a perfect start to the meal. ”
“ Came for happy hour and we got happy hour! ALL DAY SUNDAY! (must order a drink, minimum drink purchase $2.99) For the three of us, we ordered: 5 oyster shooters $0.99/ea, Cod slider $5.99, Char-grilled cheeseburger $8.99, Columbia river steelhead teriyaki $8.99, (refillable) Strawberry lemonade $3.69, and Crispy fried calamari $10.99 - free (appetizer) when you sign up for their club Yup that fed the three of us, we were full to the brim. Food overall was decent, we thought that the oyster shooters and the steelhead teriyaki was a bit too saucy for us, while the cod slider is a bit dry and oily for our taste. The 4-star rating is due to the EXCELLENT service from our server. She brought us refills of our lemonade BEFORE it was empty; like she was able to predict when we needed it. Our server checked in on us a few times and made sure we enjoyed the food. We had a good experience here because of the service we received. Bravo! Parking is plentiful. Happy hour is only at the bar, no RSVP necessary. ”
“ Overall: How have I not been to this place for happy hour before? Parking: There's plenty of parking in the complex. Prices: We went for happy hour and it's what you would expect for seafood. Certain drinks are free refills. Service: Absolutely amazing! Our server came out with our refills without us even asking, how many places can you find that does that? I don't even think we had to follow up on anything that we requested. The food even came out in a reasonable amount of time. Food: We all enjoyed the food, other than the fried oysters shooters which didn't make much taste but it wasn't that expensive at all. ”
“ One word: Perfection. Hands down the best food we have ever had. It was literally cooked to perfection. I honestly don't know how else to describe such amazingly perfect food, I highly recommend this restaurant and especially the crab and shrimp stuffed steelhead. The staff was very friendly and courteous, overall great experience. ”
“ I wasn't really sure what to eat as I wanted something a bit simple. I naturally decided to go out for happy hour and given that I've been to Portland Seafood Company a handful of times and know of great happy hour establishments to visit, this was the place to go to. I recommend this place for happy hour because it's reasonable and provides a casual ambiance that you can bring a date or even watch a sports game on tv while enjoying some good reasonably priced foods and drinks. Great happy hour menu that changes on rotation but provides the consistency that I enjoy. Where do you like to go out for happy hour? 9/10 Recommend Clam chowder-$4.99 Cajun fried chicken tenderloins-$6.99 Oyster shooters-$.99 each ”
“ Met a friend here for the early happy hour and the place was pretty busy. I guess this is a good place to gather with friends or coworkers after work (on the bar side). The happy hour menu has a little of something for everyone. I was not that hungry and just ordered the spinach artichoke dip. It came out in a breadbowl, which was nice. The consistency was thick and was perfect for dipping chips. I also ordered the Warm Heath Bar Brownie. It came with a side scoop of ice cream, which I liked. The brownie itself was a little too sweet for me. Ther service here is definitely friendly and welcoming. Our waters are consistently being filled and we were checked on to see if we needed anything else. ”
“ I came here during their Happy Hour & the food was great for the price. The oyster's were .99 cents for 1 order with a choice of Raw or Fried Oyster. I recommend getting both! It was so delicious, my significant other and I are already planning to come back for more. Everything else on the menu is worth a try, especially because it's affordable for the portion of the food served. My second recommendation is the Shrimp Scampi on the Happy Hour. They definitely did not hold out on the amount of shrimp on this plate and I really, really loved that! I rated the restaurant four stars because I waited almost an hour to get the food after we ordered. Aside from that, my evening was an overall successful date night! ”
“ We stumbled upon PSC by accident while on our auto pilot on the parking lot to McMenamins. One look at the HH menu and your reviews, i knew we needed to check this place out. The atmosphere has the same appeal as the old Newport Bay. I think this used to be one. Anyway, they had a great variety of HH offerings, all reasonably priced and elegantly prepared. It was a wonderful way to sample their menu without breaking the bank. A great find! ”
“ I was just about to go to Target but was in a snacking mood, and you know what they say, you should never shop on an empty stomach. They have fantastic happy hour specials here. Jonny, the bartender, was super friendly and knowledgeable. I could imagine hanging out with him longer for happy hour but, alas, there was shopping that needed to be done. I got a super tasty beer, an oyster shooter, and a good-sized salad, all for under $10! The tap selection was decent. My oyster shooter had a bit of a thicker sauce than I'm used to, but the oyster was plump and fresh. I chose the pear and Gorgonzola salad which was fantastic. The basil really helped add some good flavor to the dish, and the dressing was light and tangy. I look forward to coming back in the future! ”
